Puget Sound Area. This less-popular trail on Tiger Mountain can be accessed from Poo Poo Point (via the West Side Rd), as well as from hiking from the bottom at Tradition Plateau. The trail is in pretty poor condition, and can use a little maintenance. We'll head in from Poo Poo Point and begin addressing areas where the trail is overgrown and where the tread is slipping down the hillside.

Puget Sound Area. This less-popular trail on Tiger Mountain can be accessed east of Poo Poo Point (via the West Side Rd), and intersects the Tiger Mountain Trail and Hobart RR Grade. We'll access the trail from the West Side road and begin addressing some switchbacks in need of rebuilding and areas where the trail is overgrown and the tread is slumping down the hillside.

King County's O'Grady Park is at the center of the Green River Natural Area and it provides a unique place, only a few miles east of the heavily populated Green River valley around Auburn, to get a sense of the river that is wilder, with little noticeable human impact. The site is used mainly by locals, some hikers and Enumclaw Backcountry Horseman. The trail system starts from the parking area for O’Grady and travels down the steep slopes to the Green River. The main trails are about two miles in length. These are in need of rehab and reroutes. In the future, there is a request to construct 1.2 miles of new trail as well.

Prominent from North Bend, Mount Si is one of the most popular hiking trails in Washington. A major rehabilitation project of the trail was completed in 2004, creating a trail that could withstand the heavy use. But, like all trails, Mount Si needs a little general maintenance to keep it in good shape which is what we'll focus on during this work party.

A less aggressive, and less busy, option for a hike on Mount Si is the Talus Loop Trail (3.7 miles round trip). Join us for a day of maintenance on this lesser-used trail on Mount Si.
