Wallace Falls by Bus from Downtown Everett
Community Transit buses offer weekend service from downtown Everett to Gold Bar. You can leave Everett Station Wetmore & Hewitt St. in Everett on the CT 271 bus on the earliest bus, which departs at 8:55 a.m., and arrives at Gold Bar by 10:21 (be careful, not all 271 buses go as far as Gold Bar). If that's too late a start for you, try a weekday when buses are more frequent. Tell the bus driver you want to get off at 1st and Lewis. Then you'll have about a mile walk to the trailhead (walk1st St. then turn right on May Creek Road and then left on Ley Road to the Wallace Falls trailhead). A Google map of Gold Bar can be found here. On weekends, return buses to Everett leave at approximately 2:40, 3:40, 4:40, 5:40, and finally, at 6:40. Don't miss that last bus!
